Very spot on as always Jessica. Self reliance and self responsibility. And her essay on self esteem, the wonderful writer Joan Didion talks about how important character is. This sense of character is what allows us self-respect and self respect allows us to have a say in our own individual lives. As for the government? It’s completely become a farce. And a very sad farce at that. We need to watch out for each other as much as we can while at the same time watching out for our own selves and especially our own safety health and well-being. Not many of us really enjoy being adults but if not now, then when? We need to become our own parents and take care of us and nurture us as we nurture and take care of others too. Thank you for this 💝
