Uhh yes - my brief foray into this is that not only was he married but he had been my first high school “sweetheart” - contacted me out of the blue - began “wooing” me - lied about having cancer (I know! Who would do such a thing?! I spoke to his wife actually who was as kind to me as anyone in her situation could be). Here’s the kicker ouch gut punch: even when confronted with his lie he STILL continued to lie saying that he was no longer married and hadn’t shared with me that he had been (and still was) because I hadn’t asked! WOW! Talk about being emotionally traumatized. As painful as it is be glad that you know the TRUTH as it does set you free.
