Today in “America”…
Is, all too sadly, like MOST days in America — meaning…
More gun violence. More “Our (insert name/company/politician here) thoughts and prayers are with you.” And — more insanity surely left to come because of guns and unfettered violence which shows no end in sight.
More rights being taken away from women. An end to Roe. A very likely Federal Ban on abortion. And contraception. And the “morning after pill.”
More inflation or as the wonderful Umair Haque refers to it: “Greed Flation.”
Store shelves more empty than before at the grocery store.
Gasoline is is ever more expensive and shows no signs of leveling off.
Lack of empathy. Lack of compassion. Lack of love and respect.
Overabundance of: “I-I-I” and “Me Me Me.”
Heat Waves that have temperatures far above what is normal.
Possible pandemic funding expiring which could mean the rationing of further shots in the Autumn for what will invariably be the next “wave.”
Governmental bureaucracy which does not operate in a rational logical streamlined way but rather instead is presented as a very poor example of a labyrinth MC Escher style artwork and there’s nothing “cool” to even look at.
Idiots. Stupidity. Did I mention “idiots?”
