At this point, I honestly don't know who/what to believe anymore because it certainly FEELS as if our government has let us down and abandoned us.

I think that politicians in general perhaps maybe start out in the very beginning with lofty ideals and then become corrupted and go to "the dark side."

At the same time, Bob Dylan once sang: "Don't follow leaders, watch the parking meters" and even though it's completely nonsensical perhaps he was on to something - maybe? I am at a loss really.

At this point, I would elect my dog as President ;)
