This is an excellent question, and one I have often asked myself. I do agree with trauma been a chronic ongoing stressful event for everyone here unfortunately trapped currently in the US. I believe that American society is, at its very core, selfish greedy and entitled. There is also an element of having to be right all of the time, regardless of the consequences. In this way, America seems to be the bully of the world.
