The Slow Goodbye

“Where are you going, where have you been?”

I’ve been noticing recently that, when the weather permits, I still try to have my walks. Lately, the weather hasn’t been that cooperative, but when it is and I’m able to be out walking, it is with a sense of both nostalgia and finality.

Nostalgia because — I’m walking past places such as restaurants and venues where I once dined, enjoyed music and even shared discreet (and not so discreet kisses) with others. Nostalgia is always so…
