I am sorry to hear that we both share these "Twin Demons" but at the same time too, I think it's always helpful and good to know that we're not alone, also.

Chicago...oh yes...I've been there a few times and remember once even catching the flu! It's a wonderful vibrant city but wow - those winds!

It's wonderful that you're helping to care for your father in law; I'm sure that it's not easy at all.

Your wife is a nurse! Wow, I have THE utmost respect for her, and for you, too...these times are NOT easy for any of us, but especially those of us who struggle with mental health issues as well.
