You make excellent insights here, but HOW does America, as a country, and its people, put a real and lasting END to this complete utter madness?

This type of violence leaves mental and emotional psychic scars for all of us as individuals whether we are directly involved or not. HOW can an individual function, much less flourish in a society where danger seems to hide behind each and every corner? I keep saying this: "America, wake up" but so far, it's still sleeping. And it appears to desire to never wake up, either.
