I Don’t Like What Medium Has Done to My Blog Page…
I’m not very happy with this “new” look of Medium — taking away the customizable background colors and fonts in lieu of “easier reading.”
I totally support the ability to have access to better reading quality, but still!
I mean — I pay a small amount of money each month to have this blog and I would think that it gives me a certain amount of creative freedom in “how” I would like my blog to “look” but, apparently not, powers that be, at Medium Headquarters. When I first began this blog, I spent a great deal of time in both the enjoyment and the importance of making it feel like “me.”
And now, that ability has been taken away. WHY? Oh yes, “easier reading.”
Le sigh. Is it just me, or does it feel like there is ALWAYS someone or something trying to mess with creativity/freedom/independence?
It shouldn’t be this way, and yet, it is. I just don’t get it. I really don’t.
