I can all too sadly relate as my very dear friend from the UK was supposed to visit over the holidays and was unable to because even though he did his part and tested 24 hours prior he didn’t (and still hasn’t) received his results in over TWO weeks! And this was from a testing site that The Guardian newspaper recommended too. I was (still am) devastated beyond belief. The comment above too about “Uncertainty about the future and a sadness about the opportunities lost” is SO very true. It’s very disheartening.
