I very much appreciated this post, thank you :)

For me, when I was watching the funeral yesterday, of all the many images that will endure in my heart and mind, the lasting visual at St. George's Cathedral with the lone bagpiper shrouded in darkness walking among the dead of a castle, playing his lament just seems SO very profoundly symbolic.

As to me, it really felt like an epilogue for us all.

Everything we have known and believed in.

A sad ending, but important one, too.
