I follow both Umair and Jessica on here...

When I first joined Medium, I read them both religiously, every single day; now, I STILL read them but maybe just not as much because ultimately, I have to do what I think is best for my mental and emoional health and well being, that's a choice.

They are both truly excellent writers and I believe that they are speaking truth to power with what they write...WHAT are their true intentions? None of us can know, for sure, only THEY know this themselves

We're very close to Halloween, my very favorite season of the year; and as is usual with me, I've been watching a selection of horror films quite regularly.

But, do I watch these horror films each and every day? No, because I wouldn't be able to sleep! The thing is: all of us, right this very moment, are attempting to survive and live through this pretty horrendous moment in time; ultimately, all we can do is try our utmost best to show love and compassion while trying to be proactive in whatever ways we feel that we can be...I just want to hold my loved ones close and tight to me more than anything right now because one day, we will not have that chance. Just my two (and a half cents) due to inflation thoughts :)
