“Hey America, Shut Up, and Take the $10,000 in Student Loan Relief while Tennessee Bans ALL Abortions”
AKA “In the morning, in the evening, ain’t we got fun?”
An interesting dichotomy has emerged this week for Americans:
A student debt relief of $10,000 AND the announcement that Tennessee plans to ban all abortions, even pregnancies that have been the result of rape and incest. WOW. Way to go, America! Helping everyone, all at once. Whee!!
Is it just me, or does the phrase “Trigger Law” in a country that is absolutely rife with gun violence seem to be an extreme irony? It’s absolutely bonkers.
“Making providing abortions a FELONY in the state.”
Doctors take a Hippocratic Oath: “First do no harm” and yet, that promise based on moral and ethical philosophy has now been struck down. Think about that for a minute. Let it REALLY sink in. This is happening right NOW.
