Does Anyone Else Ever Wonder What To Do On The Weekend?
Even though as I often say to my friends “Once a goth, always a goth” I would absolutely LOVE to visit Whitby UK in October for the “Annual Goth Weekend”
It’s not as if I don’t have lots to do, it’s rather just that I don’t often feel like doing them…anyone else have that particular problem? Because, it’s like this:
We’re still in the middle of an ongoing pandemic and so being inside a crowded place (for me) means wearing a mask. The weather has been SO surreal and strange, that the one constant that I relied on in the past (taking long walks) is a bit “iffy” as the temperatures vary from day to day. Lest I forget: “Monkey Pox” anyone? Then there are gas prices, and even though I have a very economical cute little hatchback Hyundai, it’s still going to cost me to drive it somewhere. Air travel? Been there, done that, back in late May/early June of this year to the UK. I feel horribly trapped in a way.
I’m concurrently watching shows on Apple TV and spending time reading.
Which are lovely things to do. I’ve taken baths, indulged in various “self care” remedies and while they all help to an extent, I still find myself feeling this existential angst: the one where the…
