It’s Wednesday, time for some beauty
Earlier, I was reading this wonderful article about Lucia Silvestri, the Creative Director at Bulgari and just fell in love with her passion for jewels and beauty.
I have always been someone who needed to be surrounded by beauty.
It doesn’t need to be luxurious, although really, how could a girl NOT want to own a Bulgari piece of jewelry?!! But really, just any kind of beauty, especially flowers, candles, and being surrounded and immersed in nature are beautiful.
Don’t even get me started on my obsession with vintage Nanette Lepore clothing! I adore her tailored feminine blazers and silk dresses. Le Sigh.
My point being: beauty is everywhere around us, every day, if only we look.
If only we open our eyes and seek it out. I would put forth this too:
We NEED beauty. In all ways. Especially, right now.
And, no essay from me regarding the importance of beauty would be complete without me mentioning my OTHER obsession which is animals…
