How ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000’ Changed Pop Culture — Rolling Stone

So, I’ve written previously about my “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” with regards to beginning to taper off of my Klonopin, or really, just benzodiazepines in general (I took Xanax before years prior). I have been on this surreal path of tapering since August of this past year and I am now currently at half the dosage that I was on, previously so…that’s good, right?

But here’s the thing: over the holidays (New Year’s Eve to be precise) I somehow managed to contract “Le Plague” (Covid variant virus) for the first time (the “first time” being the “first” that I know of, anyway). Prior to this, I had likened myself to somewhat of a rare creature — a Unicorn, perhaps, who had somehow managed to avoid it these past three years.

Scientific literature says that, if after 12 weeks, symptoms persist, then an individual can be said to now have “Long Covid” — and so, the end of this month, will be my “official” 12 weeks. But how do I know if the symptoms that I am still having (fatigue and brain fog) are still remnants of the virus itself OR the side effects of my ongoing tapering?

As well, I have pretty severe environmental allergies, so there’s that, too.

It’s very frustrating for me, because when someone asks me how I am feeling, I would like to be…
