“America Makes Most People Very Sick” (Part Two)

It’s Killing Us…

So, three more things I want to focus on today with this piece.

(1) Vaccines (aka those of us who receive them and those of us who do not).

To many of us, this would seem to be a “no brainer” but alas, in America, where EVERYTHING is polarized, the refusal of vaccines became, in a way, not unlike the Civil War — meaning that: brother turned against brother — families were broken apart, friendships of long standing decades came to an end, and basically pandemonium ensued with ever increasing confusing/conflicting/confounding messages from the CDC. I don’t know about anyone else, but I didn’t study to be a scientist.

So, trying to “decipher” all the mixed signals we were receiving almost made me feel as if, somehow overnight, I was forced to learn, at quite a quick pace, scientific terms and medical jargon which up until that time, were unknown to me. I read as much as I could, looked at the various maps of “hot spots”, talked with friends and shared information, all in an attempt to gain both clarity and focus. Did it help? Some, maybe? But overall, not really, sadly.

Ultimately, yes, I wanted to do “the right thing” both for my own individual health and also, for others, too…these others, most of whom were strangers to me, were still worthy and deserving of anything that I could do to help.
